Become the Leader You Want in Your Community

Glenview is a dynamic community comprised of strong businesses, vibrant organizations and involved citizens. Leadership Glenview will inspire and engage the next generation of leaders in Glenview.

This annual program will select 20 individuals to attend eight workshops offered over the course of eight months, delving into the structure of the Village and the many governmental and non-governmental organizations that contribute to the community's health, vibrancy, financial stability, and culture.

The benefits are many, according to Betsy Baer, executive director of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, which has organized the program. Potential leaders will learn about the Village, connect with like-minded leaders, and gain team-building skills. Best of all, she adds. Glenview will benefit from the influx of new ideas and commitment from all sectors of the community.

Applications are welcomed from individuals who live or work in Glenview and who wish to contribute to the future of the community.  Interested participants are welcome to apply by close of business September 8, 2017. The application is available through the Chamber. (847 724 0900)

The program will launch on October 20, 2017 and will run ½-day workshops on the third Friday of the month, through May 2018. Sponsors for the program include: Emerald Place-An Anthem Memory Care Community, NorthShore University HealthSystem, and Glenview / Northview Bank and Trust.
