Glenview’s walkable small-town tradition is stronger than ever this year, as more than 120 and street entertainers converge for Glenview’s Summer Fest, the best fest in the region and one of the oldest at 44 years.
Organized by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, the Fest is scheduled for June 24 this year, and features demonstrations and entertainment from Glenview’s great kids, alongside Jason the Stiltwalker, clowns, magicians, Glenview’s kid-friendly fire pole, fresh grilled burgers, and free treats. Plus the Wienermobile and Nutmobile are back for an encore.
Details: Saturday, June 24, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Lehigh Avenue between Glenview Road and Washington Street, alongside Jackman Park. Admission is free.
Sponsors of the Fest include Glenview State Bank, Glenview and Northview Bank and Trust, Glenview Terrace and NorthShore University HealthSystem.
